Many of you may know our storey, we battled as a family while our father, husband, friend, partner, mentor, Nelson Howard Ferguson (61) was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on June 1, 2019. He battled his heart our for 134 days, going in and out of the CROSS CANCER INSTITUTE many times over that time and finally losing his battle on Thanksgiving Sunday as he slept. Watching the person who you have relied on for safety and comfort your entire life, be so vulnerable and helpless to the terror that is cancer, really puts life in perspective. He refused to let cancer beat him, even in the darkest of times, his last night, as the nurses entered the room to ask him if they could take him off the antibiotics and make him comfortable, his direct response was "Tomorrow will be a better day."
In his spirit, we want tomorrow to be a better day.
